Carney-Nadeau Public School is deeply committed to ensuring the continued success of every child and young adult who steps foot in our building. Our primary goal is to equip students with the intellectual and social skills necessary to thrive not only as participants in college classrooms or as members of the professional workforce, but as responsible and contributing citizens in their own communities as well. And just as we are firmly dedicated to helping students attain the brightest possible futures, so, too, are we equally devoted to ensuring that they are safe, happy, comfortable and secure here in the present. Our staff holds itself to the highest of standards and students here at Carney consistently reap the rewards of all that we strive to offer them.
Special Board Meeting
Friday, May 29, 2015 @ 6:00 pm
Attached below is a copy of the revised 2015-16 class schedule matrix that will be proposed to the Carney-Nadeau Public School Board at tomorrow night’s special meeting. Please note that an afternoon band program is part of this revised schedule, as are science classes such as Chemistry II, Human Anatomy, and Math with Physical Applications. Attached, too, is an explanatory document that indicates the classes/educational offerings that will be gained (a total of 15) and lost (a total of 5) should this schedule be approved. It also provides an hour-by-hour analysis of total class offerings available to juniors and seniors both this year and next year, and gives an estimate of our anticipated annual general-fund savings. Hard copies of these documents will be available at tomorrow night’s meeting.
